In his address, Mr. Lawrence reflected on JJCF’s decade of growth driven by dedication and compassion. The program included praise and worship by Ms. Shaila, a special prayer, and Miss Gospel’s report highlighting JJCF’s milestones and ongoing initiatives.

Mr. Suleiman delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to JJCF’s trustees, partners, and supporters. The event concluded with a benediction by Pastor JC Lallawmsang, blessing JJCF’s mission. The children enjoyed a special visit to SGS Mall, marking their first-ever experience of exploring a shopping mall — a day filled with excitement, discovery, and pure joy.

The children’s faces lit up with wonder as they explored SGS Mall with JJCF mentors, enjoying a joyful toy train ride, a special lunch at KFC, and a fun encounter with the McDonald’s mascot that filled the day with smiles and laughter.

The event concluded with the children returning to JJCF with hearts full of happiness and memories that will last a lifetime. “This outing was more than just recreation — it was about opening new experiences and instilling confidence in our children,” said a JJCF representative. “Every smile today reflects the power of compassion and opportunity.”

The day’s highlight was a joyful trip to the YMCA camp in Pune, where excitement filled the air. The children attended a flag dance program by the Highway Church, celebrating patriotism and unity, and later joined JJCF staff in fun-filled activities that fostered camaraderie and togetherness.

While the adults joined the flag dance program, the children enjoyed their own world of fun with toys, puzzles, swings, and slides. They played freely, made new friends, and shared stories — creating lasting bonds of joy and togetherness.

The Independence Day Children’s Day Out was a celebration of community, compassion, and hope. It reflected JJCF’s commitment to nurturing young lives and left the children with lasting memories of joy, freedom, and possibility.

When a distressed mother arrived at JJCF carrying her frail nine-month-old son, Baby Joy’s journey of hope began. Although the center typically enrolls older children, his mother — struggling with a severe psychotic disorder and the grief of losing two infants — pleaded for help. Baby Joy was critically ill: malnourished, feverish, and suffering from congenital syphilis. Weighing only five kilograms, his chances of survival were very slim.

On July 11, 2023, we joyfully celebrated Baby Joy’s first birthday at our daycare in an atmosphere filled with laughter, gratitude, and love. The JJCF team organized a heartfelt celebration, making the day truly memorable for Baby Joy, the children, and their mothers. This milestone was more than a birthday — it was a powerful testimony of God’s grace and the life-saving care provided through JJCF. Baby Joy’s survival is a special reminder of hope, faith, and the impact of compassion in transforming lives.

In a heartwarming display of cross-cultural collaboration and compassion, the Jeevan Jyoti Charitable Foundation (JJCF) recently had the privilege of hosting a dedicated team from Spain representing the Youth with a Mission (YWAM) organization. For three unforgettable days, the campus in Budhwar Peth came alive with joy, laughter, and learning as the Spain YWAM team left an indelible mark on the lives of the children and staff.

The Spain YWAM team’s visit was marked by compassion, energy, and a shared mission to bring joy and learning to the children. Over three days, they led colorful balloon games, lively dances, action songs, and a drama performance that combined fun with valuable lessons. Their engaging activities promoted creativity and social skills while building lasting friendships that transcended language barriers.
